The cemetery chapel
The cemetery chapel was built in 1890 as the tomb of the Czecz family. Its designer and builder was the famous architect from Bielsko-Biała Karol Korn. The interior features a wooden altar made by the local carpenter and woodcarver Tomasz Szlagór, whose apprenticeship was funded by Herman Czecz. Behind the altar is a staircase leading to the underground crypt, where the family members of the former owners of the manor in Kozy are buried. Above the entrance to the chapel is a statue of the “Virgin at the Tomb” and a relief depicting the coat of arms of the Czecz de Lindenwald family.
