The park
The park occupies an area of approximately 2 hectares. It was created  in the first half of the 19th century by Matylda and Karol Jordan who modelled it on an earlier geometrical layout. The original axial arrangement in the southern part has been preserved with two outbuildings on the sides, a central avenue of lime trees and an oval gazebo with a stone fountain made of local sandstone in front of the palace. The northern side features a vast lawn surrounded by trees, the so-called “drawing room”. The park boasts around 480 trees and shrubs of various ages, including maples, lime trees, ashes, hornbeams, oaks, black alders, European maples, beeches, elms, chestnuts, robin trees, American tulip-trees, Caucasian and Korean firs, Wejutka pines and most notably a massive plane tree which was awarded the “Tree of the Year” title in a nationwide competition organised by the environmental group Klub Gaja in 2012, and the second prize in a similar European competition in 2013. In spring, the park abounds in wild garlic. Other interesting features include a former icehouse (a mound used for keeping food in cold conditions), a hornbeam arbour (with hornbeams planted in a circle to form a natural resting place), the bed of a former pond, remnants of a defunct wall on the edge of the park, and a maze on the site of the former tennis courts. Cutting through the park is the mountain stream Kozówka with two footbridges connecting the main area with the smaller western side. The park is open to the public.
