The Church of Saints Simon and Jude
Completed in 1901, the Parish Church of St. Simon and St. Jude was designed by Karol Steinhofer. The construction was undertaken by the building company run by Karol Korn from Bielsko which employed builders from Kozy. The cruciform design of the church combines Neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanesque styles. The construction works began after the demolition of the old wooden church from the early 16th century and took seventeen months to complete. The financial burden of the construction was distributed evenly among all the parishioners from Kozy and neighbouring Bujaków. The cornerstone was consecrated during the St. Ann’s Indulgence Feast in 1900. The roof was originally covered with clay tiles saturated in hot tar. The church is 35 metres in length, 28 m in width and 13 m in height. The tower without the cross is 45 metres high.  The polychromy paintings were originally created by Antoni Stopa, then by Marian Konarski in 1938, after that by Prof Adam Stalony-Dobrzański in the 1970s, and finally by Maria Osielczak in 2012. The high altar and the side altars were made by the sculptor and woodcarver Władysław Druciak from Kraków. The high altar features a statue of the Virgin Mary of Kozy, which had been brought here from the shrine “Pod Panienką” at the foot of the mountains. The outer walls of the church bear four commemorative plaques from: 1910 marking the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald, 1938 with the names of the fallen and deceased invalids of World War I, 1996 with the names of World War II victims, and 1837 marking the death of the heiress Aniela Gołuchowska nee Jordan.
